Inorganic insulation mortar is mainly composed of porous and has heat insulating properties of inorganic lightweight aggregate, cementitious materials, additives and other admixture composition, is a low density, corrosion resistance, not easy to fall off and the cracking of high fireproof grade inorganic building insulation materials. In recent years, with the industrial solid waste stockpiling problems, the effective application to inorganic insulation mortar, become a hot research topic for experts.
Industrial solid wastes (referred to as industrial solid waste) refers to the discharge in the industrial production process of waste fuel, smelting and chemical process waste, mining waste or tailings has no use value or has been extracted from the residual waste of useful components. In 2012, Chinas Ministry of tailings, coal gangue and fly ash, slag, smelting by-product gypsum as the key treatment objects of industrial solid wastes. At present, there are many kinds of solid waste utilization technology and develop rapidly, such as building materials, glass ceramics, dry mixed mortar, road materials, light ceramsite and high performance ceramics. As a "misplaced resources", the use of industrial solid wastes in the production of inorganic insulation mortar, can not only consume a large amount of industrial solid waste, but also effectively improve the performance of inorganic insulation mortar itself, so as to achieve good economic, social and environmental benefits.
The production of lightweight aggregate industrial solid waste
Lightweight aggregate in inorganic insulation main skeleton and insulation effect of mortar, but the market has the glass beads, expanded perlite lightweight aggregate, industrial solid waste can also achieve a low density high strength performance requirements. Some experts have prepared two kinds of mortar for self insulation wall by adopting the composite sand glazed clay and waste aerated concrete composite micro beads as insulation mortar aggregate. The production of cementitious materials of industrial solid waste
Cementing material mainly plays a cementing role in inorganic thermal insulation mortar, and also makes mortar with enough strength and construction performance. The common cementitious material is cement, but in recent years many industrial solid wastes (slag, fly ash, desulfurized gypsum and gangue) have been developed into auxiliary cementitious materials.
1. fly ash
Fly ash is one of the industrial waste residue with large displacement in our country. It is the main solid waste discharged from coal-fired power plants. The density of fly ash is light and has certain hydraulic activity. Some experts have used industrial waste residue and fly ash as cementitious materials to replace part of cement, and made use of vitrified beads as inorganic lightweight aggregate to prepare dry mixed inorganic insulation mortar. The results show that the compressive strength of mortar increases first and then decreases with the increase of fly ash content. When the content of fly ash is 20%, the mortar with better performance can be prepared.
2. mineral powder
Adding mineral powder to the inorganic thermal insulation mortar can improve the physical and mechanical properties of the mortar, increase the strength and service life of the concrete, and improve the impermeability and water resistance.
3. plaster
Gypsum and appropriate water mixing can form a good plasticity of the paste, with the gypsum and water reaction, the plasticity of the slurry disappeared and soon coagulation, hardening after further generation and development of strength.
The use of industrial solid wastes in the production of admixtures and additives in inorganic insulation mortar admixture was added to improve the performance of cement mortar, industrial solid waste can also play a similar role. The purpose of adding admixtures to thermal insulation mortar is to reduce the cost of raw material as much as possible without affecting the performance of mortar products.
Production of aggregates by Tailings
Tailings is one of the main industrial solid waste, the storage occupied a lot of land resources, increase the cost of governance, the comprehensive utilization of tailings sand become experts and scholars are quite concerned about the topic. In general, sand doped can improve the workability of mortar, physical and mechanical properties and anti shrinkage properties, but the sand density, high thermal conductivity, easy to cause the mortar dry density increases, the gas content is reduced, detrimental to the thermal performance of thermal insulation mortar. Therefore, although tailing sand can be mixed into common dry mixed mortar as aggregate, it is necessary to strictly control the amount of sand and gradation of mortar on the basis of ensuring the thermal performance of mortar.
The development trend of industrial solid waste in the application of inorganic insulation mortar
The application of industrial solid waste in inorganic insulation mortar, one can improve the performance of thermal insulation mortar, improve economic efficiency; on the other hand, the existing industrial solid waste from consumption, thereby reducing the pressure of enterprises and social governance. From the current research and application situation, the development trend is as follows:
First, when the industrial solid waste is used as raw material to prepare inorganic insulation mortar, the amount of admixture can be increased as much as possible on the basis of meeting the relevant standards.
Two more kinds of solid waste will be applied to the inorganic insulation mortar and other building materials production, and the purpose of the research on its mechanism for a class of industrial solid waste will be more and more.
